Kakorlantas: 44% Kendaraan Telah Memasuki Jakarta Saat Arus Balik Malam Ini

Korlantas Polri reported that 44% of the projected 2.2 million vehicles have entered Jakarta as of tonight, amid the post-Eid al-Fitr 2025 exodus. The head of Korlantas, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, stated that approximately 1,220,688 vehicles had entered Jakarta, based on the projection of incoming vehicles.

Oversight and Preparations

• Supervision by Police Chief: Inspector General Agus, accompanied by Police Chief General Listyo Sigit, inspected the readiness of facilities such as rest areas, stations, and traffic engineering measures like local one-way traffic, implemented by the Central Java Regional Police (Polda Jateng).

• Field Inspection: They visited Rest Area 456 to monitor the local one-way traffic. General Sigit personally examined the facilities to ensure smooth traffic flow.

Ongoing Monitoring and Adjustments

• Increasing Traffic Volume: Agus noted a rising traffic volume and the gradual implementation of local one-way traffic starting from the 3rd of the month. The one-way measures aim to channel the traffic towards Jakarta.

• Shorter Duration of Reverse Exodus: As the return traffic period is shorter than the initial exodus, the Police Chief instructed the reinforcement of personnel along non-toll roads, arterial roads, and tourist sites. Additional patrols were deployed to ensure the safety and comfort of travelers.

• Real-Time Monitoring: Agus emphasized the importance of adhering to updated traffic flow data, particularly from the traffic counting system in Semarang, to adjust operational strategies promptly.
